Colonial HDPC Stair Nose gives your stairs a clean, finished look. It’s designed to cover the edge of your stairs when you’re installing vinyl planks, creating a seamless transition. If you’re adding new stair risers, be sure to cut them flush with the stair tread so the stair nose fits properly. You can also use it when a floor is raised higher than the adjoining area for a smooth, clean edge. Note: If your stairs have a bullnose, it will need to be removed before installing the stair nose. We recommend having the stair nose on hand before you start your installation to ensure accurate cuts and avoid mistakes.
