Inspired by Kuba art, a blocky crosshatch of black, ivory and deep red fills the frame in our paper mache wall art by West Coast artist Lily Christoffersen. Her printmaking is influenced by Kuba art and Congolese textile patterns – decorative art forms that originated in Central Africa in the 17th century.
